In a place of Wonder, in search of Encouragement and Truth

I have been in a place of awe and wonder. In awe of the joy and blessings that I have been able to have and encounter. In awe of the beauty that He created in the sunrises, and sunsets. In the rain and the rainbows that follow. In awe of the happiness and joy that I am able to feel everyday and know that He is close. Wondering what I will do, where I will go, who I will be as I continue to pursue Him. Sometimes, in the midst of all the good that has surrounded me, there are times where I need encouragement because I am in a fog and I cannot see more than 10 feet in front of me. I am happy, but I am slowly walking forward into a place that I have never been and trying to figure out how to get to where He wants me to go.

I find myself seeking Christ for answers, for peace, for understanding, and love. In this searching, it has continued to help me to see His goodness, His grace and His love. It has driven me to pursue Him even more, and have a deeper desire to grow near to Him. I find that there is a part of me that so desperately wants more of Him, and will do whatever it takes to get closer to Him. After all, He wants us to draw near to Him and create a deeper and closer relationship with Him. So, when we seek after Him, He is standing there with His arms wide open saying. “Come to me. I love you. I will take care of you. I know you. Trust me. I will lead you, guide you, protect you and keep you safe.” Well, I imagine that is what He would say, or at least what I feel He is saying to me. Jeremiah 29:13 says, “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” So, when we truly focus ourselves on Him and seek Him for answers, love and understanding, we will find Him. We will find that He is right there next to us leading us in the direction that He has already planned.

I have no idea if any of you are feeling this way, but when I do, I find truths that I know about myself and about the God that I serve. The one who knows me better then I know myself. So, I wanted to share some truths with you to encourage you whether you are in that place too, or if you are not, encouragement is always nice to hear.

First of all, let me tell you that you are amazing. You are talented, special, wanted, loved, and adored. You are beautiful. You are handsome. You are smart. You are chosen. Jesus loves you and has everything worked out. He knows everything about you and He will always pursue you. He wants to be closer to you everyday.
